The Development Department ensures that knowledge in all areas necessary for a high-quality service company in the turbine sector is maintained, developed and implemented.
In order to achieve this, you must stay up-to-date with the technological developments in the sector, which means that you follow developments concerning (gas) turbines, construction and applied material and related areas, you keep up-to-date with developments in the field of repair processes and you search for possible applications of these processes in terms of new products or processes.

As an independent service company, we have knowledge and experience of a diverse range of technologies: from automated 3D precision measurement technology to stress and material analysis, both for new designs and adapted to the condition assessment of existing installations and components.
Damage tests on components and Root Cause Analysis on failed machines are carried out to a high level by the DE.
You also guide and instruct the Engineering and/or Production departments on starting up and implementing improvement projects or on introducing new repair processes and systems.

Your profile

For this role we are looking for employees who have completed their academic education and have a wide range of interests, an independent attitude and are focused on service and innovation.
Some years of experience in the abovementioned areas are desirable, but certainly not required. Although our first thoughts go to a mechanical engineer with an interest in materials science, we would like to emphasise that people with comparable training are also welcome. Due to the international character of the activities, the candidate is expected to have a good oral and written command of the English language.
